New Media and It's Impact
YouTube was created in 2015 and has since changed how business owners use marketing to target consumers. I'll be researching the impact that YouTube has made in marketing industry being a new media tool. I will also display how it has affected society both positively and negatively. With all the possibilities of YouTube, one can use it for researching purposes on how to market a product, or even where to find a business of interest. YouTube will continue to be a useful tool for both the consumer and business owner for some to come. I know as both a business owner and consumer, there isn't a day that passes that I am not on YouTube either researching a product, review feedback from consumers and/or viewers or even listening to a music video to pass the times. YouTube will make greater impacts on society with continued developments to look forward to.

I agree with you on youtube being a marketing platform. It is definitely a powerhouse for getting people to know about your product or service. One example I've seen is gaming companies using it to advertise their game and they get a lot of views from it which increases awareness of the game big time.

ReplyDeleteYouTube have really evolved since it started, you can go on the website and find lots of video contents that you want to view like how to videos, makeup tutorials, video games reviews etc. YouTube also provided jobs for people where you can upload your own video contents make money off those same videos and also grow your own fan base and become a YouTube celebrity. Who would have thought YouTube would have turned into something this big.
